Please arrive at least 5 minutes ahead of your session time and present yourself at the reception. You will be provided with the right size Vacushape skirt that encloses the vacuum pod or ActiveBelly belt. Authorized personnel will activate the machine for you.

Exercise clothes – light-fitting tracksuit pants, gym sneakers with a clean, smooth flat sole. A t-shirt or thin cotton top is suitable for the upper body and covers your midriff. You should not be wearing tight pants, like leggings as they limit blood circulation. Please bring your own towel.

Bring a bottle of water – during the session the body needs about 0.5 liters of water. The aim of the exercise is not dehydration, but to provide your body with the necessary stimulus for effective fat burning.


We recommend a high-impact therapy of 20 sessions (three 40-min sessions a week) to kick-start your metabolism and reduce water retention. After the high-impact therapy, you can then decide to continue to burn off more fat (3 sessions per week) or switch to a standard-impact therapy (1-2 sessions per week), to stabilize your success.

To ensure optimum fat burning Vacushape monitors your heart rate so that you are always exercising in the Aerobic zone which is approx. 65% – 75% of your Maximum Heart Rate (MHR).

An example of the calculation of the aerobic zone for a 30-year-old woman is:

Maximum Heart Rate (MHR) = 220 – {age 30} = 190 beats per minute
Aerobic zone is approx. 65%-75% of MHR which equals in this example 123 – 143 beats per minute
65% * 190 = 123
75% * 190 = 143


To maximize your results before each session you may consume carbohydrates. Do not consume any fats. After the session, you are recommended to consume proteins, e.g. fish, meat, poultry with vegetables, or salad (again without fatty sauces).

It is very important to drink approx. 3-4 liters per day while using VacuShape or ActiveBelly. It helps your lymphatic system to flush out toxins and metabolic waste. Non-carbonated mineral water, green tea, or alkaline tea without sugar is recommended.


  • Do not use a sunbed or go to the sauna.
  • Do not do aerobics.
  • Preferably avoid exercise which is demanding on the legs on the day of the session.
